Identity Verification

Nasdaq Private Market collects specific documentation to verify the identity of our customers. We gather this information to fulfill our Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance requirements.

 

All new customers are required to complete our onboarding workflow via the NPM Platform. After successfully activating your account, you will be prompted to "Get Started":

 

Next, you will need to agree to the NPM Acknowledgement and agree to receive all communications via electronic delivery, as described in the Agreement and Consent to Electronic Delivery of Documents:

 

Once you have agreed to the NPM Acknowledgment, you will want to create your submission:

 

NPM will then ask for your Personal Information:

Note: A physical address is required. Do not provide a P.O. box, "in care of" address, or mailbox drop location.

 

Tax Information:

 

Spouse Information.

 

In order to comply with FINRA rules and the USA PATRIOT ACT, Nasdaq Private Market or its affiliates may use the following Personal Identity Information to perform a background check. NPM Requires:

  • Government Issued Photo ID (Drivers License, Passport, Military ID)
  • U.S. Tax ID (SSN: Social Security Number or ITIN: Individual Tax Identification Number)

 

Need to update your information?

If any of the information you have provided on the NPM Platform has changed or is no longer accurate, please contact us at support@secondmarket.com with the following information:

  • Your First and Last Name
  • Your Email Address
  • The Company or Company Program (e.g., “ACME Tender Offer")
  • The request to change your Tax ID/ SSN 

Please note that once you have entered your SSN or Tax ID, you will not be able to alter this field yourself so please be sure to review your entry before clicking submit.
